Simone is a certified health & wellbeing coach, qualified counsellor, and workplace wellbeing consultant who is passionate about helping individuals and organisations find ways to manage their wellbeing and achieve balance to be their best. Simone’s career spans the horseracing industry and supporting people professions. For 15 years she oversaw the development and delivery of Racing Welfare’s wellbeing services to the workforce of the British horseracing industry.
A graduate of the Thoroughbred Horseracing Industry’s MBA programme, her research identified occupational stressors for racehorse trainers and their impact on health and wellbeing. Simone also has an MA in Health Research, specialising in organisational health and wellbeing. She commissioned mental health research across the horseracing industry with Liverpool John Moore’s University and has collaborated on research that examines the psychological impact of occupational injury in horseracing. In 2020, Simone was nominated for and won the Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Community Award in recognition of her work across the horseracing industry.
