I have held senior management positions in a variety of organisations including pharmaceuticals, pre clinical research, manufacturing and fintech. I now work as a freelance business consultant focussing on coaching and developing teams and individuals to reach their full potential. More recently I have held the role of the Programme Director for the Horseracing Industry People Board and delivered a people strategy for the racing industry. Before that I led the HR function at Godolphin for ten years. I have a degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have worked in private practice as a therapist, executive coach and for Cambridge University Staff Counselling Service.
I have balanced my career with being a single Mum of a now grown-up daughter. I have held the role of a charity Trustee in the violence against women and girls sector. During my professional and personal life I’ve learned a lot about resilience and vulnerability – my own and those around me, leading and being part of teams during times of change both within and outside the racing industry. I’m told I’m a good listener and I enjoy playing a part in supporting the development of others.
