Lisa has held the position of CEO at the Injured Jockeys Fund, one of UK racing’s highest profile charities since 2010. Lisa is a true racing enthusiast and under her leadership the Injured Jockeys Fund has evolved into a highly effective, specialist independent charity serving all current and former UK licensed jockeys and their families. General pastoral, financial, and specialist care and support is provided with typical annual expenditure of £4M.
Prior to joining the Injured Jockeys Fund, Lisa was Managing Director of Newmarket Racecourses for 8 years, during which period she oversaw the £10M redevelopment of the July Racecourse. She is currently a non-executive director of Chester Racecourse Company and is a member of The Jockey Club.
Lisa rode competitively as a point to point jockey under her maiden name of Lisa Rowe and was hugely successful with over 60 wins mainly in the East Anglian region.
